All packed and ready to go.
Sunset over the Puget Sound.
When not feverishly working on bike frames, or working my part time bike shop job, or kicking it with my spawn I occasionally take off for a couple of days on a bikecamping trip. So, last weekend I switched my commuting bike into touring mode and headed up for a Seattle to Bellingham jaunt.
Campsite at Larabee State Park. New tent in the background.
The weather was perfect, 70s and sunny. The views were amazing. Had great companionship. Found some interesting things lying about on the ground. Drank a few beers. Slept out in my new tent. Hung out with good friends at both ends of the ride. My bike performed excellently. Couldn't have hoped for a better time.
Lots more pics here.
